AdvisorSEO Max Managed

Three firms. I do the work.

Every month, people in your market type "financial advisor near me" into Google or ask ChatGPT who they should talk to. Those are the hottest prospects that exist: they are actively looking for an advisor, right now, on their own initiative.

This engagement is built to put your firm in front of them. There is no magic in how that happens. Getting found is a system: pages built around what people actually search for, structure that search engines and AI engines can read, and consistent signals they trust. AdvisorSEO Max is the tool I built to run that system on my own firm, and nobody runs it better than I do.

Your website does the selling while you sleep. My job is to grow the number of people who land on it while looking for an advisor. More of the right traffic means more prospect meetings. Closing them is on you.

My own firm is the proof. For years I averaged 25 prospects annually from organic Google search, and now AI answers. Through August 2026, I am at 35, and I attribute the change to this work. That is one solo advisor with one office. A firm with more advisors, more services, or more locations has far more surface for this same system to work on.

I run AdvisorSEO Max on your site the same way I run it on mine, and then I do the implementation myself. The work happens, and I show you what moved.

Three firms at a time. When the slots are full, they are full.

Who this is built for

  • Independent RIAs and fee-only firms doing $750,000 or more in annual revenue
  • Firms with an existing website that has some search history behind it
  • An owner or principal who can approve a page change without routing it through four people
  • Firms that want organic search specifically, not a general marketing retainer

Who it is not built for

  • New firms with a site launched in the last few months and no Search Console history
  • Anyone who needs a specific ranking or a specific number of leads promised in advance
  • Firms that want paid ads, social media, and search bundled into one engagement
  • Firms that will not connect Google Search Console

That last one is not a preference. Without your real search data I cannot tell you whether anything worked, and neither of us should sign an engagement where nobody can tell whether the work mattered.

The first six weeks

Setup is where most of the movement gets built. Here is what happens before the monthly rhythm starts.

Week 1. Google Search Console connected and a full baseline captured. Site-wide audit across every indexed page. Technical crawl. Google Business Profile review. AI visibility baseline recorded in ChatGPT, Claude, and Perplexity. Competitor set identified and scored.

Week 2. You get the baseline document and we get on a call. I show you what I found, what I am fixing first, and why. You tell me what is off limits.

Weeks 3 and 4. Technical remediation. Indexing problems, crawl issues, canonical tags, redirects, page speed. Homepage rebuilt for search and for the AI engines that read structure. Schema deployed.

Weeks 5 and 6. Your top three service pages rebuilt: headers, structure, internal linking, meta tags, on-page copy. Google Business Profile corrected and completed. Second AI visibility run to record the structural change.

Everything goes to you for review before it publishes. Nothing goes live without your approval.

The monthly rhythm

Implementation. Everything the platform surfaces, I fix. Meta tags, headers, schema, internal linking, service page structure, technical issues as they appear.

Content. Two posts per month, written for your firm in your voice, on topics chosen from your actual Search Console data rather than from a generic calendar. Every draft runs through the compliance review scanner before it reaches you.

Local. Google Business Profile setup, optimization, and monthly posts. NAP consistency maintained across listings.

AI visibility. Monthly checks in ChatGPT, Claude, and Perplexity, plus the structural work on your site that improves what those engines read. Google AI Overviews reads the same structural signals, so that work carries over.

Compliance review. Weekly automated scans of your key pages for SEC and FINRA marketing-rule risk patterns: testimonial-style language, performance claims, unverified superlatives. Findings go to you. I flag. I never approve.

Reporting. One report per month showing what I implemented and what happened afterward in impressions and average position, tied together. Not a traffic dashboard.

A call every other month. Thirty minutes. Your report still lands every month, and if something needs a conversation between calls, we get on one.

Platform access included. Your AdvisorSEO Max account is part of the engagement at no separate charge, and you keep full access to it throughout.

How this gets measured

I measure impressions and average position from your own Google Search Console data, at the query and page level, before and after each change.

I do not use click-through rate as a query-level measurement. Google suppresses click data on low-volume queries, which makes query-level CTR unreliable as evidence that anything worked. Site-wide CTR trends across many queries are a directional signal, and I will show you those, but I will not build a case on them.

Every recommendation implemented gets tracked and verified against your real Search Console outcomes, controlled for site-wide trends, seasonality, and Google algorithm updates.

Average Position
39.9 to 19
Clicks
184 to 552
Impressions
59.9K to 66.6K

My own firm, site-wide, from Search Console: May 1 through July 31, 2026 against the same dates in 2025, the period before AdvisorSEO Max existed. One firm, mine, over a defined window. An observation, not a projection for yours.

What I will not do is tell you how many rankings or how many leads you will get. Nobody can tell you that honestly.

What is excluded

Stated now so there are no surprises in month seven.

  • No paid advertising of any kind
  • No social media management
  • No website redesign or development work beyond search-relevant edits
  • No email marketing or CRM work
  • Nothing published without your review and approval
  • No compliance approval, certification, or sign-off of any kind

The compliance review scanner flags language for your review. It does not replace your compliance consultant, your CCO, or your counsel, and it never will.

One firm per market

I will not take two firms competing for the same searches in the same metro. When a market is taken, it is taken for the length of that engagement.

I also run a fee-only RIA in Nashville. If your firm competes directly with mine, I will tell you on the first call and decline. That disclosure happens before anything else does.

Investment

$5,000 setup, one time. $3,500 per month.
The setup fee pays for the six week build described above. The monthly retainer runs alongside it from day one.
Your first invoice is $8,500. Every month after is $3,500.
Twelve month agreement. Sixty day notice after the initial term.

Twelve months because search work compounds and does not report honestly inside ninety days. A shorter term would put our renewal conversation before your own data can say anything worth hearing.

This number is wrong for most firms. If your firm is doing under $750,000 in revenue, the software on its own at $199 a month is the better decision and I will say so on the call.

Who is doing the work

Shaun Melby, CFP®

I am Shaun Melby, CFP®. I run Melby Wealth Management, a fee-only RIA in Nashville, and I built AdvisorSEO Max after months of trying to make generic tools work for my own firm.

AdvisorSEO Max is the best visibility tool built for advisors. I would know. I built it, I run it on my own firm every week, and nobody runs it better.

I did not come to this from marketing. I came to it from sitting in the same chair you are sitting in, needing new client conversations, and having no way to tell whether anything I did to my website mattered.

Common questions

Why not just use the software myself?

For many firms that is the right answer, and it costs $199 per month. Managed exists for the firm that knows what needs doing and is never going to spend Thursday afternoons doing it.

What results should I expect?

I will not answer that with a number, because nobody can honestly. What I will commit to: every change I make gets measured against your own locked baseline, you see every verdict including the ones that did not work, and by the six month review we will both know what the record says.

Who does the work?

I do. This is not a team with my name on it.

What do you need from me?

Search Console access, publishing access or a person who publishes within a few days, Google Business Profile access, roughly seven business days of turnaround on approvals, and a thirty minute call every other month.

The next step

Book a thirty minute call. Before we talk, I will run your site through the platform, so the call is about specific findings on your firm, not a pitch deck. If it is not a fit, I will tell you on the call.
